Half the fun for us at HeavenScent Candles is educating people on the benefits of burning a soy candle and proper etiquette of burning and extinguishing a soy candle.

Every candle that is made at HeavenScent Candles is hand-poured and made from American-grown soybeans along with all of our supplies and materials being American based.

100% soy wax burns at a cooler temperature allowing for longer hours of burning than most paraffin wax candles and you will notice that there is no black soot left behind on your walls, ceilings or in your lungs.

Here are some handy tips that we find will help to preserve the life of your HeavenScent Candle:

• Allow for the wax to pool all the way to the outer edges of the container. This will guarantee an even burn (no tunneling) and a maximum fragrance throw;
• Trim wick 1/4"  before each use;
• Do not move or re-light your candle until the flame is out and wax is completely cooled and solid; 
• Set the candle on a protected, heat-resistant surface;
• Avoid drafts and vibrations and keep out of reach of children and pets; 
• Never burn your candle on or near anything flammable, or for more than 3-4 hours at a time;
• Burn your candle within sight; 
• Container will be hot when candle is lit;
• Please act responsibily with fire and educate your friends and family about the safe and proper methods of burning soy candles.
• We recommend that you do not burn the candle if the wax level is below 1/4”;
• To extinguish your candle, dip the wick into the hot wax.  This will preserve the life of the wick and will not leave you with a puff of smoke;
